Stu Brawl Stars Guide — Best Build, Nitro Dash & Tips 2025
Master Stu in Brawl Stars: how to chain Nitro dashes, best gadgets, star powers, modes and counters.
Stu is an Epic Assassin who charges his Super by damaging enemies — and his Super is a dash. Unlike Mortis who dashes to attack, Stu dashes to reposition safely and chain multiple dashes in rapid succession. The key skill: managing Stu's Super charges to maintain constant mobility.
Stu's Dash Loop
Stu can hold up to 3 Super charges. Each hit on an enemy charges one Super. With full ammo:
- 3 attacks = 3 Super charges = 3 consecutive dashes.
- Each dash can be aimed independently.
- The chain is near-instant — Stu can cover 9–12 tiles in under a second.
This makes Stu both aggressive (dash into attack range) and defensive (dash out of fire).
Best Modes
| Mode | Verdict | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Brawl Ball | ✅ Excellent | Dash carries the ball; dash escapes defenders |
| Showdown | ✅ Excellent | Multi-dash mobility makes him near-unkillable |
| Knockout | ✅ Strong | Chain dashes to isolate and burst 1v1 |
| Gem Grab | ✅ Good | Dash gem carrier to safety |
| Bounty | ❌ Weak | Moderate range; snipers outrange him |
Best Build
Gadget: Zero Drag — Stu instantly gets a full Super charge. Use it to escape a bad position when your charges are empty.
Star Power: Gassed Up — Stu's first Super dash deals fire damage. Opening with a fire dash on the primary target does bonus damage and creates pressure before the fight fully starts.
Dash Chaining
The optimal Stu sequence:
- Attack 3x to charge all dashes.
- Dash into attack range.
- Attack 1x to refill 1 dash.
- Dash away if threatened.
- Repeat.
Never spend all 3 dashes on offense — keep 1 in reserve for emergency escape.
